Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Materials Engineer to join our team at HVJ Associates. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for managing projects that meet our financial goals and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence
  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation and risk management
  • Mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure their growth and development
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal partners
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in construction materials testing and inspection
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) certification in Texas
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments
