Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling:
  1. Utilize company computerized scheduling software with proficiency
  2. Collaborate with the Project Superintendent in developing and updating the CPM schedule
  3. Maintain the project CPM schedule on a monthly basis
Engineering:
  1. Process shop drawings and submittals
  2. Coordinate and schedule shop drawings, catalog cuts, and sample submittals
  3. Review for completeness, accuracy, and conformance to plans and specifications
  4. Create and maintain a record of contract documents (changes and revisions)
  5. Maintain a record of submittals, approvals, and resubmittals
  6. Review the completed status of the submittal schedule and analyze
  7. Prepare construction drawings for various projects
Material Expediting:
  1. Monitor the project buyout and manufacturing process to expedite material delivery
  2. Inspect materials for quantity and quality
  3. Closely coordinate material deliveries on projects with limited storage areas
Project Administration:
  1. Set up and maintain the project filing system
  2. Prepare and/or reconcile owner pay estimates
Extra Work:
  • Identify and document extra work
  • Keep an accurate description and daily record of force account work
  • Estimate and process extra work proposals
  • Ensure change orders become part of pay estimates
Initiate Correspondence:
  • Draft job start-up letters to the owner
  • Submit all required reports to the owner
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and have completed graduate-level coursework in Project Management, Construction Cost Estimating, Risk Management, and Construction Materials.

A minimum salary of $81,827 is offered along with benefits including weekly paycheck, PTO, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, TelaDoc, Employee Assistance Program, ESOP, 401K, Development & Education Assistance Program.
