Job Overview

HVJ Associates, a leading specialty engineering firm in Texas, is seeking a highly skilled Construction Materials Project Engineer Leader to support the project manager or other staff as directed. The successful candidate will ensure client satisfaction through preparation of detailed calculations, performing engineering analyses, and completing field assignments.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing projects to meet HVJ SCTX financial goals and quality standards, providing project deliverables on schedule and within budget, developing proposals for future work, guiding/mentoring junior staff, and ensuring client satisfaction. Additionally, they will assist with business development.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE or MSCE) with at least three to five years of directly related construction materials testing experience.
  • Licensed Texas Professional Engineer (PE)
  • Excellent written and communication skills, strong math and science skills, valid Texas Driver's License with no history of accidents or alcohol/drug-related traffic offenses, and valid right to work documents.
