PNC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our Vendor Finance organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our presence in the market.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize financing opportunities under assigned vendor programs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendor and vendor channel personnel to grow sales, profit, and market share.
- Originate, screen, quote, negotiate, and document lease products and services for vendor relationships.
- Ensure service level agreement performance metrics are achieved.
- Perform complex transaction structuring and financial analysis to determine if lease financing opportunities meet PNC parameters.
- Manage risk/return and identify and mitigate different types of risk for new clients.
- Coordinate financing request submission, credit underwriting/decisioning, loan documentation, and transaction closing with internal and external partners.
- University/college degree required, with 5+ years of industry-relevant experience.
- Preferred skills include book of business, client relations, credit, credit products, customer engagement, decision making, financial analysis, and identifying sales opportunities.
- Competencies include accuracy and attention to detail, business acumen, collateral management, credit analysis and verification, customer experience management, effective communications, financial engineering, and regulatory environment - financial services.
