Currently, ManTech is seeking a driven, career-focused, and customer-oriented Cloud Developer to support a significant U.S. Government initiative.

The Department of Justice Division at ManTech is looking for a strategic leader for the Enterprise Data Analysis Section (EDAS). This role requires technical expertise to bolster IT networks, systems, and initiatives. It is essential for the success of FBI missions and necessitates specialized knowledge in agile methodologies, particularly the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). This methodology will be employed to synchronize Agile teams and deliver capabilities, ensuring effective prioritization of work and successful outcomes. Experience with SAFe implementation is crucial for modernizing and enhancing the capabilities within the EDAS portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain a scalable, cloud-based repository for the Enterprise Data Pipeline (EDP) Content Warehouse.
  • Implement data formatting, enrichment, and analysis processes within the Content Warehouse.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs and solutions.
  • Utilize Apache NiFi and Apache Tika to create data processing workflows.
  • Leverage Databricks and Lakehouse architecture for efficient data storage, processing, and analytics.
  • Implement search functionality using ElasticSearch to enable Enterprise Search capabilities.
  • Integrate data from various sources into the Content Warehouse, ensuring data quality and consistency.
  • Implement data security measures and ensure compliance with relevant policies, standards, and regulations.
  • Optimize data processing and storage for scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the Content Warehouse.
  • Stay informed on emerging cloud technologies, best practices, and industry trends.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to communicate project updates, recommendations, and findings.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Five to seven years of experience in cloud development, data engineering, or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Experience with tools and technologies including Apache NiFi, Apache Tika, Databricks, Lakehouse architecture, ElasticSearch, and AWS SQS.
  • Familiarity with data integration, transformation, and enrichment processes.
  • Solid understanding of data security and compliance requirements in a cloud environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to design and implement efficient and scalable cloud-based solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Developer, Databricks Certified Developer, or Elastic Certified Engineer are highly desirable.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must possess a current/active TS clearance.

The projected compensation range for this position is $122,600-$204,200. Factors influencing the final salary/hourly rate include Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills, competencies aligned with the specified role, geographic location, education, and certifications.
