Currently, ManTech is in search of a driven, career-focused Cloud Developer to support a significant U.S. Government initiative.

The Department of Justice Division at ManTech is looking for a strategic leader for the Enterprise Data Analysis Section (EDAS). This role requires technical expertise to bolster IT networks, systems, and initiatives, playing a crucial part in the success of FBI missions. A deep understanding of agile methodologies, especially the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), is essential for aligning Agile teams and delivering capabilities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain a scalable, cloud-based repository for the Enterprise Data Pipeline (EDP).
  • Implement processes for data formatting, enrichment, and analysis within the repository.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs.
  • Utilize tools such as Apache NiFi and Apache Tika to create data processing workflows.
  • Leverage Databricks and Lakehouse architecture for efficient data storage and analytics.
  • Implement search functionalities using ElasticSearch to enhance Enterprise Search capabilities.
  • Integrate data from diverse sources into the repository, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Establish data security measures and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Optimize data processing for scalability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Stay informed on emerging cloud technologies and industry best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
  • Prepare and present project updates and findings to colleagues and management.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Five to seven years of experience in cloud development or data engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Proficiency in programming languages including Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Experience with technologies like Apache NiFi, Databricks, and ElasticSearch.
  • Familiarity with data integration and transformation processes.
  • Solid understanding of data security and compliance in cloud environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to design scalable cloud solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Developer or Databricks Certified Developer are highly desirable.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must possess a current/active TS clearance.
