As a Customer Success Engineer at Tray, you will possess a strong passion for addressing customer challenges through software integrations. This may involve enhancing team efficiency, executing smarter marketing initiatives, or refining high-level business analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients in maximizing their use of Tray by addressing their most challenging technical inquiries.
  • Enhance team workflows that contribute to improved efficiency or a superior customer experience.
  • Demonstrate the value of Tray through exceptional technical support.
  • Relay customer requirements and provide valuable product insights to product management and engineering teams.
  • Availability for working hours will align with Pacific Time.

About You

  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience in a technical customer-facing role within a software organization.
  • Self-taught coder, bootcamp graduate, or formally educated in computer science.
  • Experience with web-based APIs, particularly REST.

Compensation

For positions based in California, the target total compensation for this role ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 annually. Our salary structure is designed to be competitive within our industry and the geographical area of the role, and it represents just one aspect of the comprehensive compensation, benefits, and rewards we offer, including stock options.

Individual salary decisions are influenced by various factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skill set, and maintaining internal equity among peers at the company. The aforementioned range is a good faith estimate based on the expectations outlined in this job description; however, we are open to a wide variety of profiles and recognize that the ideal candidate may possess more or less experience than what is described. Consequently, actual compensation may differ from the provided estimate.
