Research Scientist

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative researcher to join our team as a tenure-track faculty member at the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research. As a member of our faculty, you will have the opportunity to develop and lead a vibrant, independent research program in mammalian biology or emerging biology, including artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Responsibilities- Develop and lead a research program that addresses fundamental problems in mammalian biology or emerging biology
- Teach and mentor undergraduate and graduate students
- Contribute to the development of a diverse and inclusive research environment
- Ph.D. or M.D., or equivalent
- Experience in mammalian biology or emerging biology
- Strong research and teaching skills
- Lab and office space at the Whitehead Institute
- Generous start-up package
- Access to state-of-the-art core facilities
