We are seeking a highly skilled Research Associate to join our team at Synectics Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting in-vivo toxicology experiments, leading study scientists, and contributing to the advancement of discovery, technology, and early development projects.
Key Responsibilities- Design and execute in-vivo toxicology experiments using a range of scientific and technical skills to deliver high-quality data.
- Lead study scientists on toxicology studies or support studies led by others, ensuring successful conduct of the study.
- Contribute to laboratory meetings, drafting of study protocols, and scheduling and implementing all activities involved in the study.
- Perform technical procedures including animal handling, administration of test articles, clinical monitoring, and documentation of findings.
- Review and comply with company, IACUC, regulatory, and standard operating procedures.
- Contribute to the review and update of standard operating procedures and working instructions.
- Bachelor of Science in a biological sciences field or Laboratory Animal Technician Certification with over 3 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent laboratory citizenship, ability to work independently and collaboratively, and contribute to a productive and dynamic team environment.
- Experience using in-life data acquisition systems.
