At Bicycle Therapeutics, we are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our Translational Sciences team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing data generation, analysis, and interpretation of clinical protocol-defined biomarker assays, managing clinical trial biomarker samples, and overseeing external assay development projects at Contract Research Organizations (CROs).
Key Responsibilities:- Design, conduct, and coordinate translational research activities at CROs, including assay development, execution, and analysis of clinical biomarker data.
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize candidate predictive & pharmacodynamic biomarkers to support clinical development strategies.
- Support analysis and development of clinical biomarker datasets, including but not limited to Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), and In Situ Hybridization (ISH).
- Experience with design, delivery, analysis, and interpretation of clinical biomarker assay techniques, including comprehensive genomic profiling/NGS, ISH, and/or IHC.
- Clinical biomarker assay development experience in solid tumor/liquid biopsies.
- Demonstrated experience managing external projects at CROs.
- Translational science, translational medicine, or clinical research experience.
- Ability to collaborate, communicate, and present findings to scientists and non-scientists.
- Flexible, organized, and motivated scientist who enjoys working in a fast-paced, small company environment.
