About the Role:

The Regional Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing communications and marketing efforts to raise the visibility of the Red Cross, support mission-driven business objectives, and educate communities on how to access Red Cross services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement communications and marketing strategies to support regional and national initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing campaigns
  • Manage and maintain the regional social media presence, including creating and scheduling content
  • Develop and distribute media materials, including press releases and media kits
  • Provide communications support for fundraising priorities, including the top fundraising events in the region
  • Support regional Public Affairs throughout the entire disaster cycle
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in communications and marketing, preferably in a non-profit or humanitarian organization
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful communications and marketing campaigns
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
