Job Summary

The Mandel JCC is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Services Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional customer service to our members and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Transaction Management: Coordinate with members and camp families to compile financial information for scholarship applications, process scholarship correspondence and awards, and review and approve refund requests for program refunds.
  • Accounts Payable Management: Monitor vendor payment agreements to find discounts, keep track of credits owed to the company, scan and distribute invoices to budget managers, and follow up with managers to ensure timely payment.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including disbursement-aging printouts, to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to members and staff, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in accounts payable or a related field.
  • Skills: Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLookup, and excellent organizational and communication skills.
Working Conditions

The primary functions of this role require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting. The ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods, occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist, and lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight is required.
