Position Overview

Heritage Counseling & Consulting is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill a dual role as a clinical counselor and Neurofeedback provider. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including children and adolescents, and provide evidence-based treatments to support their mental health and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Administer evidence-based treatments to clients, including counseling and Neurofeedback services
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive case files, including assessment reports, session notes, and treatment plans
  • Participate in weekly multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress and share best practices
  • Prepare and attend quarterly meetings with the Clinical Director and Director of Operations to review practice goals and objectives
  • Conduct a minimum of 25-30 client sessions per week, with flexibility to adjust schedule as needed
  • Develop and submit quarterly blog posts on topics related to clinical expertise and experience
  • Attend marketing engagements and events as requested
Requirements
  • Master's degree or higher in counseling or a related field
  • Current licensure as an LPC or LMFT in the state of Texas, with CACREP accreditation
  • Knowledge of the DSM-V and ability to diagnose and treat mental health conditions
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • 2-3 years of experience working with adolescents and adults, with a focus on mental health and wellness
