We are looking for a qualified Speech Language Pathologist to join a progressive team dedicated to enhancing communication skills among students.

The Speech Language Pathologist will play a crucial role in evaluating students who require support for speech, hearing, or language challenges. Responsibilities include instructing students on sound production, voice modulation, and enhancing both oral and written communication skills. Additionally, the Speech Language Pathologist will guide individuals in strengthening oral muscles and employing strategies for safe swallowing.

  • Work Schedule: Monday - Wednesday: 9am to 4pm, Thursday: 9am to 5:30pm, Friday: 9am to 2pm

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist or actively pursuing licensure.
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • Experience working with individuals with Autism across various age groups.
  • Ability to assist with self-care tasks as needed.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create tailored care plans for each student.
  • Deliver skilled speech therapy services in accordance with physician directives.
  • Assess student needs, develop, evaluate, and adjust care to achieve speech therapy goals.
  • Establish realistic and attainable objectives for students to improve communication and swallowing abilities, enabling them to thrive in educational and social settings.
