Core Responsibilities:

  • Evaluation: Perform thorough assessments to identify students' speech and language requirements and formulate Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Intervention: Create and execute tailored therapeutic strategies to address various speech, language, and communication challenges.
  • Collaboration: Partner with educators, special education personnel, and families to seamlessly integrate therapy objectives into both classroom and home settings.
  • Monitoring Progress: Systematically track and document student advancements, adjusting therapy approaches as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Active Ohio Speech-Language Pathologist license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Experience: Experience in an educational environment is advantageous but not mandatory. Recent graduates are welcome to apply.
