Position Summary: The Investment Accounting Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of various accounting functions while maintaining high standards of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for all scheduled activities, including daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly tasks.
  • Ensure the accurate execution of essential functions such as journal entry bookings, management fee calculations, reimbursement of accrued expenses, investment valuations, and the preparation of financial and investor reports.
  • Maintain robust accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to protect the company's assets and ensure compliance with US GAAP.
  • Design and implement quality control measures to enhance service delivery.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering their professional growth and success.
  • Regularly review and assess control processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to clients.
  • Create comprehensive checklists to guarantee the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of processes.
  • Update and maintain critical process documentation on a regular basis.
  • Collaborate with client service teams to ensure the timely and precise communication of relevant financial information.
  • Prepare Management Information System (MIS) reports for both onshore and offshore management teams.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at process improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate and facilitate regular management meetings to discuss performance and strategy.
  • Understand and address client reporting needs, providing effective solutions.
  • Drive technological advancements and implementations within the team.
  • Support the transition of new clients and processes to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Contribute to organizational cost optimization efforts.
