Job Title

AP/AR Clerk

Job Description

Snelling is currently recruiting for an experienced AP/AR Clerk for a well-established industrial wholesale company. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining vendor databases, resolving discrepancies, checking and approving vouchers, and processing accounts payable checks.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate vendor database with up-to-date information
  • Resolve any discrepancies with the purchasing, receiving, or vendor departments
  • Review and approve vouchers for payment
  • Process invoices in accounting software
  • Monitor vendor returns and prepare invoice deductions
  • Prepare and distribute accounts payable checks
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in AP/AR
  • Wholesale or retail distribution experience preferred
  • Prelude Accounting software experience an asset
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and ability to build complex spreadsheets

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
