Job Title: Registered Dietician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietician to join our team at Symphony Care Network, LLC. As a key member of our food service department, you will be responsible for coordinating the daily dietetic functions to ensure that our guests receive a nourishing, palatable, and well-balanced diet that meets their nutritional and special dietary needs.

Responsibilities:

* Coordinate all clinical/dietetic services, including monitoring and directing in-service dietary staff
* Ensure compliance with regulatory standards in the dietary services department
* Perform and chart initial guest assessments and quarterly summaries
* Attend and participate in guest care conferences
* Ensure that nutritionally adequate diets are served
* Obtain and update guest food preferences
* Monitor food delivery for correct temperatures, diet to meet menu, and accuracy of regular and therapeutic trays
* Assist the chef with implementing and monitoring the QA program
* Participate/direct in orientation, training, and hiring of food service personnel
* Ensure that the department complies with established policies and procedures
* Administer disciplinary action according to facility policy and procedure, if needed
* Assist in checking and storing incoming food and supplies
* Report equipment needs to the general manager
* Attend and participate in in-service education
* Direct/assist in maintenance of a safe and sanitary dietary department

Requirements:

* Active licensure in Michigan as an RD
* Previous RD experience is preferred
