Catchafire is a pioneering B Corporation seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Associate to join our small, high-performing sales team. As a Sales Associate, you will play a critical role in meeting our revenue and mission goals by building strong relationships with potential clients, communicating our value proposition effectively, and identifying organizational needs of our growing nonprofit and social enterprise community.

Your Responsibilities:

  1. Initiate and Maintain Strong Relationships with potential clients to build Catchafire's community.
  2. Communicate Our Value Proposition succinctly and effectively to prospective customers.
  3. Identify Organizational Needs of Catchafire's growing nonprofit and social enterprise community.
  4. Develop a Healthy Pipeline of high-quality leads through a keen understanding of the nonprofit and social enterprise space.
  5. Secure Clients by identifying appropriate price points and clearly articulating customer benefits and advantages.
  6. Set Aggressive Personal Goals to exceed targets for revenue and outreach.
  7. Conduct Diligent Follow-up with potential clients.
  8. Help Develop a Strategy to pursue the best opportunities, in coordination with other members of the Catchafire team.
  9. Research and Generate New Leads through networks, industry events, and other channels.
  10. Help Improve Outreach Processes and communications strategies.
  11. Support and Strengthen Our Culture, values, and reputation.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in sales, business development, marketing, and/or fundraising, ideally with experience in the nonprofit or social enterprise sectors.
  • Exceptional persuasion and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the nonprofit or social enterprise sectors.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Exceptional organization and prioritization skills.
  • Motivation to develop a long-term career in sales, marketing, or business development.
  • Proven team player with experience as an effective member of a close-knit team.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute on ideas and implement changes based on feedback.
  • Motivation to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment and thrive under pressure.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks at once.
  • Excellent research skills.
  • Enthusiasm to chip in and do anything that helps the team.
  • Energetic and outgoing attitude.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Two-month trial for all new hires: stipend and performance-based compensation.
  • Following completion of two-month trial: competitive base salary in addition to performance-based incentives and comprehensive benefits.
