Medical Office Assistant

Piedmont Healthcare PA is seeking a highly skilled Medical Office Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Office Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient charts.
- Provide information to patients and families to ensure they fully utilize and benefit from our clinic services.
- Convey a positive image of our clinic and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
- Experience in healthcare or a practice setting with clinical duties is required.
- CPR certification is a must.
Working Conditions:
Our Medical Office Assistant will work in a combination of medical office and exam/procedure room settings. The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 50 pounds and use appropriate body mechanics techniques when making patient transfers and assisting with walking, dressing, etc.
