Job Summary

Mother Wolf Las Vegas is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen leadership, you will be responsible for supporting the Executive Chef in all aspects of back-of-house operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Manage kitchen operations in the absence of the Executive Chef.
    • Develop and implement new menu options based on seasonal changes and customer demand, in collaboration with the Executive Chef.
    • Ensure timely and efficient kitchen activities.
  • Inventory and Supply Chain Management
    • Responsible for weekly and monthly inventory management, monitoring and recording inventory levels, and ordering new supplies as needed.
  • Employee Development and Training
    • Provide support and guidance to junior kitchen employees, including line cooking, food preparation, and dish plating.
    • Create schedules for kitchen employees and evaluate their performance.
  • Sanitation and Quality Control
    • Ensure compliance with Department of Health and company sanitation standards.
  • Recruitment and Training
    • Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training of new employees.
  • Cost Control and Efficiency
    • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to review food and labor costs and minimize waste.
Requirements
  • At least two (2) years' experience in a full-service, moderate to high-volume restaurant.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to focus, multitask, and work well under pressure.
  • Must be organized, self-motivated, and proactive with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.
  • Must have a valid SNHD Food Handler card.
