Residential Property Supervisor Job Overview

Sand Companies Inc is in search of a skilled Residential Property Supervisor to become a vital part of our organization. This Full-Time role will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Affordable Housing Units, particularly focusing on Section 42 housing. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in overseeing diverse property operations while nurturing positive interactions with tenants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate documentation for tenant move-ins, re-certifications, and security deposits.
  • Oversee rent collection, analyze delinquency reports, and manage eviction processes when required.
  • Foster tenant relationships by promptly addressing inquiries and concerns.
  • Achieve property occupancy targets through strategic marketing and promotional efforts.
  • Administer property budgets and routinely assess financial reports.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and perform property evaluations.
  • Lead maintenance staff and cleaning service providers, offering necessary guidance and feedback.
  • Complete mandatory reporting and adhere to all operational protocols.
  • Manage general office responsibilities and liaise with service providers for property upkeep.
  • Ensure a secure and welcoming living environment for all tenants.
  • Plan and execute community engagement activities for residents.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in property management, ideally within Section 42 housing.
  • Background in Supportive Housing and Section 8 Project Based housing is advantageous.
  • Property management certification or relevant educational background is preferred.

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software applications.
  • Leadership capabilities and the ability to work autonomously.
