A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PROPERTY MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
As a Property Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibility is to ensure that our residents enjoy safe and comfortable living conditions. You will address maintenance concerns promptly and perform necessary repairs to maintain apartment quality. When units become vacant, you will work diligently to prepare them for new residents within five days.
With a proactive approach, you will assist the property manager with inspections and participate in an on-call emergency rotation for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Your friendly demeanor and responsiveness will enhance resident satisfaction, and you will take pride in contributing to the community's overall cleanliness and appeal. Each day will present a mix of routine tasks and unexpected challenges, ensuring that your work remains engaging and fulfilling.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PROPERTY MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
- Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience
- Proficient in painting and unit turnover
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and general maintenance
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
