We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our team. As an Electronics Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and calibrating portable instruments used by the Utility industry to identify natural gas leaks.
Key Responsibilities- Instrument Assembly and Testing: Assemble, test, and calibrate portable instruments to ensure they meet industry standards.
- Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair instruments to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Component Construction and Assembly: Construct components and/or subassemblies and assemble electronic equipment.
- Documentation and Reporting: Complete necessary documentation and report any improper operations, defective materials, or unusual conditions to supervision.
- Quality Improvement: Recommend improvements in quality, procedures, components, and processes.
- Safety and Housekeeping: Follow safety rules and regulations and maintain a neat, clean, and orderly work area.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; two-year technical degree or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years' experience in the electrical/electronics, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic fields.
- Skills: Not afraid to learn new skills quickly; must be computer literate.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by this individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Regularly required to stand.
- Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and to climb or balance.
- Occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk or hear.
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 6am-2:30pm.
Offers of employment are contingent on passing a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
