As a forward-thinking financial institution, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to take on the role of Marketing Coordinator at our Administrative Office in Mountain Home, ID. This position requires a local candidate.

The Marketing Coordinator will deliver creative and administrative assistance to the marketing division.

The responsibilities of the Marketing Coordinator include, but are not limited to, coordinating events, managing public relations initiatives, executing marketing campaigns, overseeing social media activities, and facilitating member education on various subjects. The Marketing Coordinator will also provide support to branches regarding supplies, marketing materials, and other needs that may arise. This role will assist the department with daily operations and organization, enhancing the Marketing Department's efforts to promote Pioneer Federal Credit Union.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer administrative support to the Marketing Department, including branches and team members as necessary. Manage calendars and emails for the Marketing Department. Assist in organizing and developing campaigns, events, and projects.
  • Maintain an inventory of marketing-related supplies for the Credit Union and distribute them to branches as required.
  • Represent Pioneer Federal Credit Union at community events.
  • Support Marketing and Business Development staff during exhibitions and special events.
  • Carry out general administrative tasks such as ordering supplies, printing and distributing internal marketing materials, scheduling appointments, and responding to emails and phone calls. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Coordinate with Credit Union branch leadership to schedule events and participation.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Experience: A minimum of one year in a similar or related role.

Education: High school diploma or GED.

Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust and diplomacy is essential, along with standard courtesy and tact. The role involves extensive personal contact with others and may require motivating or influencing others. Building strong relationships with external entities (companies and/or individuals) is crucial.

Additional Skills:
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Proficient with office equipment, personal computers, and Microsoft Office.
  • Professional demeanor when representing Pioneer Federal Credit Union.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Adobe Photoshop. Knowledge of InDesign software is a plus.
  • Experience with online marketing campaigns is advantageous.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with financial products and services is beneficial.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Regular and satisfactory attendance is required.
  • A clean driving record and the ability to operate a company vehicle.
  • Willingness to work weekends or flexible hours as needed; some holidays, Saturdays, and evenings may be required.
  • Good understanding of the credit union's operations, workflow, legal requirements, and staff utilization.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and achieve results.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment with shifting priorities while maintaining a keen attention to detail.
Physical Requirements: This position typically involves light office duties but also requires the ability to lift, bend, and stoop, as well as move and carry heavy items while preparing for and working at special events. The role also necessitates the ability to ascend and descend stairs while carrying items and loading/unloading vehicles.
