Position Overview
This role is responsible for managing financial accounts, generating various analytical reports, and assisting in the development and execution of the annual operational budget, which is approximately $54 million.

Key Responsibilities
This position involves performing intricate planning and analytical tasks, utilizing sound judgment to select appropriate methods and techniques for problem-solving.

The Senior Financial Analyst is expected to exhibit a strong capability to assess complex financial matters, understand their potential implications, identify alternative solutions, and provide informed recommendations.

Essential Qualifications
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with relevant experience or training.

Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in accounting practices, purchasing, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, personnel management, equipment inventory, and business management procedures.

Strong analytical skills are necessary to foresee and identify issues, conduct research for resolution, and devise innovative solutions.

Familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles, fund accounting, and budgetary cycles is essential, as well as mathematical skills to accurately manage financial data.

Applicants should be capable of functioning effectively under pressure, managing a heavy workload, conflicting priorities, and tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with automated financial systems and tools is advantageous.

Work Environment
This position may require occasional overtime and adherence to confidentiality protocols.
