Position Title: Nursing Supervisor - Cardiac Medicine Intermediate Care Unit

At UNC Health REX, we are committed to enhancing the health and wellness of our communities through dedicated care. We are currently seeking a Nursing Supervisor for our Cardiac Medicine Intermediate Care Unit, a specialized 24-bed facility.

As a Nursing Supervisor, your primary responsibilities will include overseeing educational initiatives, assessing patient outcomes, and supervising nursing personnel. You will be instrumental in fostering a culture of excellence, facilitating interdisciplinary teamwork, and ensuring the delivery of superior patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute educational programs for nursing staff, patients, and their families
  • Assess patient outcomes and adjust care plans accordingly
  • Encourage a culture of diversity, collaboration, and outstanding service
  • Provide ongoing feedback and support for staff development
  • Work with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive patient care plans
  • Engage in research and quality improvement projects
Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an Accredited Nursing Program with a Bachelor’s degree (BSN)
  • Current NC RN Licensure and BCLS certification are mandatory
  • At least one year of experience as a licensed RN
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
