Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at Physicians East. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures to produce high-quality images of internal organs and tissues.
- Use advanced sonographic equipment to record images of blood, organs, tissues, and bodily masses.
- Work closely with patients to ensure their comfort and safety during procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret results and develop treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient procedures and results.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest sonographic techniques and technologies.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An Associate's degree or completion of a program in medical sonography.
- Registration or registry eligibility by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in abdomen, GYN, vascular, or breast.
- At least two years of clinical experience in sonography.

Location and CommitmentsThis is a permanent full-time role based at our Greenville OBGYN location, Monday-Friday, 7:45 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Overtime may be required to ensure patients are taken care of, tasks are completed, and calls are returned in a timely manner. Weekend work is rare but can occasionally be necessary.
