Job Summary:

The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations on patients, utilizing advanced imaging techniques and equipment. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform ultrasound examinations on patients, utilizing advanced imaging techniques and equipment.
  • Develop and implement effective patient care plans, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient examinations and results.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the advancement of patient care and safety.
Requirements:
  • Completion of a CAAHEP-approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a full-service ultrasound department.
  • ARDMS certification with completion of registry.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
