Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure client needs are met and exceeded.
  • Attend industry events and networking opportunities to build relationships and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
  • Track and report on sales performance and progress towards goals to ensure accountability.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Continuously develop knowledge of the logistics and transportation industries to better serve clients.
  • Acquire and maintain a network of sources to identify new sales leads and opportunities.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of executive-level experience selling large logistics solutions with proven results.
  • Working knowledge or experience in two or more of the following areas: distribution center management, dedicated fleet, and/or transportation management.
  • 5–10 years' experience working in the logistics and transportation industries with a strong understanding of the Central Valley region.
  • Established book of transportation and warehouse business is a significant advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to connect and build rapport and relationships with internal and external customers at all levels.
  • Strong organizational skills, time management skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple projects or work streams.
  • Skill in the operation of a variety of computer software programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Sales CRM is preferred.
