Visionworks is a leading provider of eye care services, dedicated to delivering exceptional patient experiences. We're seeking a charismatic and passionate individual to join our team as an Optometric Assistant.

This role is the face of our Exam Practice, responsible for ensuring the best possible journey for every patient. As an Optometric Assistant, you will be trained and knowledgeable about eye health and preliminary testing, optics, our products/services, and managed vision care.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining complete and accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing
  • Introducing patients to the OD and providing them with important patient information
  • Transitioning patients from the doctor to the sales floor and providing associates with necessary information to educate and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
  • Executing day-to-day operational activities to support the store's exam lane maintenance and patient experience goals, including restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to meet additional patient needs

Compensation:

The compensation range for this role is $17.05-$23.44 per hour, with eligible bonuses, equity, and commissions. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
