Job Summary

The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our inpatient oncology team. As a Physician Assistant, you will work closely with our attending physicians to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of a comprehensive treatment plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine patients to obtain information about their physical condition
  • Order and interpret diagnostic test results to obtain pertinent medical information
  • Obtain, compile, and record patient medical data
  • Prescribe therapy or medications and perform procedures according to DFCI privileges
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and coordinate a plan of care
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and successful completion of an AAPA/NCCPA accredited Physician Assistant Studies program
  • NCCPA Certified and licensed to practice as a Physician Assistant in Massachusetts
  • Must maintain current DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Licenses
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of qualifying professional Physician Assistant experience
  • Expert knowledge of general medicine and preferable exposure to hematology/oncology and/or inpatient medicine
