Boston, Massachusetts, United States Massachusetts General Hospital(MGH) Full time

Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Inpatient Oncology team, caring for patients with Solid Tumors.

We prioritize teamwork and sustainable work-life balance, with a focus on minimizing burnout. Our team of APPs collaborates daily, and we offer full-time APPs working 3 days per week, self-scheduling managed by the team, strictly voluntary overtime, and equitable sharing of off-shifts supported by a nocturnist program.

Patient to provider ratios are optimized for the best patient outcomes and provider experience. Our 12-week orientation is robust, and we offer abundant interdisciplinary and APP-focused educational opportunities, as well as financial support for independent learning.

As a member of our team, you will have opportunities for committee involvement and process improvement. Enjoy a dynamic career managing critically ill patients with autonomy and support.

Collaborate with research teams to elevate first-in-human therapies to standard of care on our unique 36-bed solid tumor floor, which also cares for patients with severe immunotherapy complications.

Responsibilities include participating in daily inter-disciplinary rounds, developing and implementing care plans, coordinating tests and consultations, communicating with referring clinicians and consults, performing patient education, and preparing patients for discharge.

We offer an outstanding benefits package to eligible employees, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, tuition reimbursement, generous paid time off, and more.

At MGH, we are committed to delivering the highest quality patient care and excellence in clinical practice. If you share our commitment, we invite you to join us.

Ellison 16 is a 36-bed oncology unit, located on the inpatient hospital (Main) campus. Providers are responsible for coverage 24/7, including weekends and holidays. Shifts are 13 hours, with minimal night requirements and support from a nocturnist program.
