- Apply advanced practice knowledge to identify and solve complex patient care problems.
- Manage patient care, including ordering tests and medications, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, as needed.
- Demonstrated competence in the care of adult hematology/oncology patients.
- Ability to effectively communicate clinical information and plan of care to medical and lay audiences.
- Skilled in creating appropriate documentation and using electronic medical records.
- Solid organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- EPIC In-basket management and telemedicine experience.
- Masters Degree in Nursing or Masters Degree from a NCCPA accredited PA program.
- Current licensure in the commonwealth of Massachusetts as a certified NP/PA.
- At least 3 years of proven experience as an APP in oncology.
