Irregular Warfare Strategy Analyst Opportunity

Axient LLC is seeking a highly skilled Irregular Warfare Strategy Analyst to join our team at the Headquarters of the United States Air Force Deputy Chief of Staff for Strategy, Integration and Requirements in Washington DC.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide strategic and operational SME level support in irregular warfare and irregular warfare-related issues to the Strategy Division (A5SS) to support implementation of high-level strategic guidance including the National Defense Strategy and National Military Strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Joint Strategic Planning System (JSPS) and provide recommendations and decision-quality products for senior USAF leaders.
  • Lead quantitative and qualitative analysis on a wide range of relevant topics, including developing capability assessments, war and mobility planning support, and requirements development.
  • Prepare bullet background papers, briefings, and decision aids using strategic planning tools.
  • Assist in task and workflow management.
Requirements
  • Masters Degree
  • Three (3) years of current experience within the last five (5) years in irregular warfare and irregular warfare-related issues.
  • Experience in applying irregular warfare expertise to implementing high-level strategic guidance, including the National Defense Strategy and National Military Strategy.
  • Excellent communications skills in terms of writing, presenting, and conflict resolution.
  • TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility.
