About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Real Estate Attorney to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our legal team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on a wide range of real estate matters, including transactional and litigation issues.

Responsibilities
  • Draft, Review, and Negotiate Commercial Real Estate Agreements: You will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial real estate agreements, including purchase and sale agreements, lease agreements, development agreements, and property management agreements.
  • Provide Legal Advice on Real Estate Matters: You will provide expert legal advice on a range of real estate matters, including property rights, property taxes, zoning, and environmental compliance.
  • Conduct Due Diligence in Real Estate Transactions: You will conduct thorough due diligence in real estate transactions, including review of title documents, surveys, and environmental studies.
  • Represent the Company in Court Proceedings: If necessary, you will represent the company in court proceedings and coordinate with outside counsel on litigation matters.
  • Advise Clients on Legal Risks and Implications: You will advise clients on legal risks and implications in real estate transactions.
  • Develop and Maintain Strong Relationships with Clients: You will develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with timely and practical legal advice.
  • Stay Abreast of Current Legislation and Industry Trends: You will stay up-to-date on current legislation, court rulings, and industry trends affecting real estate law to ensure the company and its clients are in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctorate from an Accredited Law School: You must have a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to Practice Law in the State and in Good Standing with the State Bar: You must be admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing with the State Bar.
  • Minimum of 5 Years of Experience in Real Estate Law: You must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate law with a strong focus on real estate transactions.
  • Exceptional Negotiation Skills and Ability to Interpret and Create Legal Documents: You must have exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to interpret and create legal documents.
  • Proven Ability to Manage Multiple Projects and Prioritize Tasks: You must have a proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills with Attention to Detail: You must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills: You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Using Legal Research Software and Other Related Software: You must have proficiency in using legal research software and other related software.
