Spa Reception Coordinator

The Spa Reception Coordinator plays a vital role in managing the front desk operations of the spa. This position involves welcoming guests, responding to inquiries about spa services and products, scheduling appointments, checking guests into the system, and processing payments for services rendered. Additionally, the coordinator may assist with the upkeep of the locker room and relaxation areas as necessary. This role includes a commission-based earning potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Punctually attend shifts and maintain a reliable attendance record.
- Open and close the spa daily following established Standard Operating Procedures.
- Efficiently manage the booking, modification, and cancellation of spa appointments.
- Greet and acknowledge every guest entering and exiting the spa facilities.
- Process check-ins and payments in accordance with company policies, ensuring the protection of company assets.
- Provide comprehensive information about spa treatments, packages, services, and operational hours.
- Utilize spa management software effectively; record guest information as instructed.
- Maintain a Spa Desk Bank for financial transactions.
- Answer phone calls promptly, using guests' names to personalize interactions; operate the phone system efficiently.
- Actively promote spa services, treatments, and available promotions.
- Maintain eye contact and develop professional relationships with returning guests.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns in a courteous and professional manner.
- Uphold confidentiality regarding all guest matters in line with company policy.
- Provide timely and accurate responses to guest requests, ensuring satisfaction.
- Keep the work area clean, safe, well-stocked, and organized.
- Monitor supply levels and notify management when inventory is low.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently and remain at the designated post for extended periods.
- Foster a positive work environment through a constructive attitude.
- Participate in training sessions and staff meetings regularly.
- Assist in retail operations as needed.
- Communicate any incidents involving staff or guests that require management attention.
Qualifications:

- Basic math and cash handling skills are essential.
