Job Summary:

The Guest Services Coordinator plays a vital role in delivering outstanding service at the Front Desk, as well as managing Bell Services and Concierge tasks. This position is the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming check-in experience. Utilizing advanced technology, the Coordinator will provide tailored service that aligns with the high standards of Mainsail Lodging & Development.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Welcome and guide guests to their accommodations, taking note of individual preferences to enhance their experience.
  2. Assist guests with their luggage and provide room information.
  3. Offer room quotes and promote upgrades when applicable.
  4. Engage with guests using personalized communication, including their names.
  5. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of hotel features and services to effectively showcase the property.
  6. Ensure guest confidentiality and security throughout their stay.
  7. Provide insights on local attractions, dining, and entertainment options.
  8. Handle luggage and mail with care, ensuring proper delivery.
  9. Coordinate with Housekeeping to maintain smooth operations.
  10. Process payments and verify charges for guest stays.
  11. Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Performance Standards:

The Guest Services Coordinator is expected to contribute to the hotel's success by delivering exceptional guest experiences, thereby achieving high satisfaction scores.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in hospitality is preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.

Physical Demands:

Ability to stand or sit for extended periods, lift up to 40 lbs, and communicate effectively.

Mental Demands:

Ability to manage multiple tasks, make quick decisions, and work under pressure while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
