About Alsana

We are an eating disorder recovery community with 9 locations nationwide, plus our virtual program. Our unique philosophy of care is centered on our clients' total health, addressing aspects of eating disorders that often go untreated in traditional recovery programs.

The Role

As a Primary Therapist at Alsana, you will assess clients, determine referral needs, provide group therapy, family therapy, and group education, and formulate and implement treatment plans. Your expertise will be invaluable in crafting unique treatment plans tailored to each client's needs and outcomes.

  • Perform various assessments relevant to eating disorder treatment and provide feedback to clients.
  • Provide individual therapy sessions using appropriate interventions adapted to the client's needs.
  • Document progress notes, weekly therapy assessments, treatment plans, and discharge summaries within established time frames.
  • Communicate with outpatient teams to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications

To be eligible for this position, you must have:

  • A Master's degree in social work, Clinical Counseling, or other relevant health-related discipline (AMFT, ACSW, LPC, PhD).
  • Two years' recent related experience working with eating disordered clients or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Eligibility for registration with relevant professional associations.
