Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our interdisciplinary team at Alsana. As a Dietitian Nutrition Therapist, you will be responsible for providing individualized nutrition therapy to clients with eating disorders and co-existing medical conditions. Your expertise in nutrition science and counseling will play a vital role in helping our clients achieve a balanced relationship with food and their bodies.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial and weekly client nutritional assessments to develop personalized meal plans and provide guidance on nutrition-related tasks such as meal planning, grocery shopping, and cooking.
  • Lead regular nutrition education groups to promote healthy eating habits and body positivity.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure high-quality food is served to our clients, meeting their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Provide regular updates to outpatient referral treatment teams and support clients in real-life nutrition tasks.
  • Participate in ongoing education related to nutrition therapy for eating disorders and stay up-to-date on best practices in the field.


Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited program and be registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). A minimum of 1+ years' experience working as a Registered Dietitian, ideally with eating disorder clients, is preferred.
