About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the EverGRO team as a Farm Store Associate - Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and professional store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide friendly and efficient customer service to all customers, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Transaction Processing: Process check-out, exchange, and return transactions using point of sale equipment.
  • Store Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the professional and clean appearance of the store showroom, including restocking shelves and organizing merchandise.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other store team members and warehouse team members on various responsibilities, including stock and replenishment of merchandise and inventory management.
  • Additional Responsibilities: May be trained and certified on forklift and filling propane responsibilities (based on age), and work safely aligned with the cooperative's guidelines and regulations.
Work Environment

This position will work both within an indoor storeroom setting and outdoors at times to assist with customer needs on deliveries, pick-ups, etc.

Requirements
  • Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Experience: Prefer six (6) months of experience in a retail environment providing customer service and operating point of sale equipment.
  • Knowledge: Prefer prior knowledge, working experience, or hands-on experience in farming, agriculture, animal health, animal science, planting, gardening, or a related field.
  • Skills: Effective communication skills, both oral and written, and a knack for relationship building and problem-solving.
