Quality Assurance Specialist

As a Quality Assurance Specialist at Food Lion, you will play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety in our retail operations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our stores meet the company's quality and safety standards, while also providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular quality audits to ensure compliance with company standards
- Identify and implement process improvements to reduce shrink and improve labor productivity
- Collaborate with store teams to resolve quality and safety issues
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Provide training and coaching to store associates on quality and safety procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
Working Conditions
- Work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals and other hazardous materials
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures
