About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Farm Store Associate. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide friendly and efficient customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience
  • Process transactions, including check-out, exchanges, and returns, using point of sale equipment
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized store showroom, including restocking shelves and facing merchandise
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service
  • Participate in visual merchandising and display setup to create an attractive store environment
  • Answer customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure accurate inventory levels and efficient stock replenishment
  • May be trained and certified on forklift operation and propane filling responsibilities (based on age)
  • Work safely and follow company guidelines and regulations
Requirements
  • No minimum education requirement or years of professional experience required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Willing and able to work on Saturdays when scheduled
  • Prefer six (6) months of experience in a retail environment providing customer service and operating point of sale equipment
  • Prefer prior knowledge or experience in farming, agriculture, animal health, animal science, planting, gardening, or a related field
  • A passion and enthusiasm for working with customers to help improve and overcome challenges related to their needs
  • The ability to focus and work safely when operating equipment and helping customers
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written
  • A knack for relationship building and problem-solving
  • A desire to learn, grow, and work as a cross-functional team member with other divisions within EverGRO
