Job Overview

We are actively seeking Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMTs) who are dedicated to providing exceptional medical assistance in both emergency and non-emergency situations. This role offers a $1.5k sign-on bonus for full-time positions with a commitment of one year.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine the necessary medical care and provide emergency services using appropriate techniques and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, conditions, and treatments while ensuring confidentiality and upholding patient rights.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for all patients.
  • Utilize Advanced EMT skills effectively, including communication, medical equipment handling, and adherence to cleaning procedures.
  • Operate an ambulance in compliance with company safety policies and traffic regulations pertaining to emergency medical response vehicles.
  • Collaborate professionally with allied health personnel, public safety officials, and fellow team members.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Engage in community programs to enhance the organization's image and foster strong community relations.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Valid State Driver's License.
  • National or State Advanced EMT certification.
  • Current CPR/BLS certifications.
  • Driving record that meets company policy standards.
  • Successful completion of a Physical Agility Test.
Working Conditions:

Available to work various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. The role may involve long periods inside an ambulance and exposure to varying weather conditions. Candidates should be prepared for moderate noise levels and potential work in poorly lit environments.

Physical and Mental Demands:

Physical requirements include moderate to extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking, as well as lifting over 200 lbs. with assistance. Candidates must demonstrate critical thinking skills and the ability to manage high-pressure situations effectively.
