Job Overview

We are actively seeking Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMTs) to provide essential medical assistance in both emergency and non-emergency situations. This role offers a chance to deliver high-quality patient care while ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine necessary medical interventions and deliver emergency services using appropriate techniques and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, conditions, and treatments while upholding confidentiality and patient rights.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and well-equipped environment for patients.
  • Utilize Advanced EMT skills effectively, including communication, medical equipment handling, and adherence to cleaning protocols.
  • Operate an ambulance in compliance with company safety policies and traffic regulations related to emergency medical response.
  • Collaborate professionally with allied health personnel and fellow team members.
Additional Duties:
  • Engage in community outreach programs to enhance the organization's image and foster strong community relations.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Valid State Driver's License.
  • National or State Advanced EMT certification.
  • Current CPR/BLS certifications.
  • Driving record that meets company standards.
  • Successful completion of a Physical Agility Test.
Working Conditions:

Availability for various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. The role may involve long periods inside an ambulance, with potential exposure to varying weather conditions and moderate noise levels.

Physical and Mental Demands:

Physical requirements include moderate to extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking, as well as the ability to lift over 200 lbs. with assistance. Mental demands involve critical thinking and the ability to manage stress in high-pressure situations.
