Job Title: Regional Organizing Director

Ethos Organizing is seeking a highly motivated Regional Organizing Director (ROD) to develop and lead a direct voter contact office. As a ROD, you will build local grassroots teams that will engage in door-to-door canvassing in order to speak with voters about progressive issues ahead of the 2024 election.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, hire, train, and manage a team of organizers and canvassers
  • Collaborate with state leadership to develop and implement all components of a strategic canvassing program in a key area
  • Analyze daily and weekly reports to track progress to goals and implement rigorous quality control measures
  • Communicate and coordinate as needed with client and/or partners
Qualifications
  • All applicants must possess a laptop computer and cell-phone
  • Ability to set goals and deadlines for other people, and help them meet those goals or deadlines
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Familiarity with advocacy or electoral campaigns
  • Familiarity with or excitement to learn the use of data to set goals and measure progress
  • Flexible and self-motivated to identify priorities and complete work without direct supervision
  • Knowledge of or experience with VAN is preferred
  • Staff management experience as a volunteer leader, organizer, or canvass manager is a plus
