Market Development Strategist

The Market Development Strategist will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of Mid-State Machine's industrial services. This position is responsible for developing and implementing go-to-market strategies that align with customer needs, ensuring profitable revenue growth and market segment dominance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive business plans that drive profitable sales growth in assigned industrial markets.
- Generate demand for Mid-State Machine's services through strategic account development and relationship-building.
- Lead and support a team of Field Market Development Managers in executing client/customer development and sales generation initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of market development strategies and team performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or +10 years of industry experience in lieu of degree.
- 5-10 years of experience in industrial sales or market development roles.
- 2+ years of experience leading B2B sales or market development personnel.
- Experience in heavy industrial markets, power generation, and/or mining industries preferred.
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year
