Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome members to the credit union with professionalism, ensuring prompt and accurate service.
  • Assist members with various transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
  • Manage cash and checks within established limits, addressing holds as necessary.
  • Reconcile cash drawers at the end of each day and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Process card requests, order checks, and handle stop payments.
  • Perform drive-up and night drop functions as assigned.
  • May be responsible for opening and closing duties.
  • Foster member relationships through proactive outreach to current and prospective members.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all credit union products and services.
  • Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations associated with the role.
  • Promote and explain TAPCO services and products effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, including those pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).
  • Possess reliable transportation to the workplace.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of cash handling experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience in customer service.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing job responsibilities.

Work Environment

  • Office setting with essential onsite work.
  • Frequent use of wrists, hands, and fingers is required.
  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
  • Potential temporary or permanent assignments at other branches may occur.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $20.00-$23.20.
