Job Summary: The WIC Nutrition Specialist will work closely with the WIC team to provide personalized nutrition education and referrals to eligible clients. This includes assessing clients' nutritional needs, developing high-risk care plans, and tailoring food packages to meet individual requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess clients' nutritional needs and develop personalized nutrition education plans
  • Provide referrals to eligible clients for additional resources and services
  • Collaborate with the WIC team to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and guidelines in nutrition and public health

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a WIC program
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
