Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager - Sales to join our team at Lumber Liquidators. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of store appearance and organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Support: Assist customers with making informed purchasing decisions, provide product knowledge, and ensure a seamless shopping experience.
  • Customer Service: Deliver outstanding customer service, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Store Operations: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensure accurate inventory levels, and perform daily tasks as assigned by the Store Manager.
  • Team Leadership: Coach and mentor sales associates to achieve personal sales goals, provide feedback and guidance, and support the development of a high-performing team.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with receiving, stocking, and maintaining inventory levels, ensuring accurate and efficient inventory management practices.
  • Proactive Selling: Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products, engage with customers to understand their needs, and provide personalized recommendations.
Requirements
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Communication Skills: Engage with customers, sales associates, and management team members, using effective communication skills to build relationships and drive sales growth.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office products, basic computer skills, and ability to learn and operate a forklift.
  • Education: High School degree, GED, or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1+ years of customer-facing experience in sales, retail, or hospitality.
